There’s just something about Eastern Orthodox churches that, aesthetically, I love. They’re bright, colourful, and incredibly bold. I could photograph them all day every day.

This three-bar cross – seen throughout Eastern Orthodox churches – topped a church on Varvarka street. I just had to get a picture of this cross against the bright blue Moscow afternoon sky.
